"Tres Noir Handmade Optics was born when two brothers wanted to create a sunglass brand that fit their needs for style and quality. They also wanted to create a brand that fit their lifestyle and reflected a more real, gritty, side of so-cal culture, including art, music, kustom cars, motorcycles, surfing and skating.....Running the company out of a garage in Long Beach, CA, Tres Noir introduced its first collection in spring 2006, the reaction and the demand of the product was overwhelming.
In spring 2007, Tres Noir launched their 2nd collection and moved its headquarters out of the garage and into the current office and warehouse in Anaheim, CA. Gracing the faces of some of the top bands, artists, and scensters, Tres Noir became a noticeable player in the sunglass industry.
