Designer's Notes: "At the end of the second decade of the 20th century, jewelry styles became more works of art than a repetition of historic revival styles that had dominated Victorian tastes. Simpler lines foreshadowed the oncoming geometry of the deco era. Diamond styles were widely translated into costume jewelry.

Necklace: Pendant 2" x 2-1/2"; 18" chain.

This lavaliere style has a pin back for wear as a brooch. Garnet trefoil and squares contrast with the brilliance of white crystal. Genuine natural pearls flutter from the lavaliere. Antique silver finish. Fastens with a lobster claw clasp.
