A little history straight from Helle's Belle herself:
"All products are designed by the Headmistress. They are executed by hand and with love by a team of dedicated workers.
They are all manufactured from man-made materials, which means no animals were hurt in the process - even Vegans can eat these!
Hell's Belles is a one-woman operation.
After a spate of strange occupations, including working as a mermaid at NYC's now defunkt Coral Room, a Lower East Side bartender, and a cataloguer of deformed skulls at the American Museum of Natural History, the Headmistress fled NYC for the steamy megalopolis of Bangkok, Thailand. It was time to take the Hell's Belles show on the road!
Now her days are spent fine-tuning her plan for global domination. This often involves trawling Bangkok's myriad markets, hot on the trail of houndstooth or polka dotted PVC, sifting through vast quantities of buckles and fastenings, and chasing the perfect leopard print pattern. On her off hours she snuggles with her giant African land snail, Demelza." |
